FIELD: railway transport industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric switch mechanisms of railway automation and telemechanics and is intended for switching, closure and control of switch blades of railroad switches on rail transport and can be applied in transport industry. The electric switch mechanism contains a housing, inside which an electric motor is installed, a control unit for characteristics of rotational motion transmitted by electric motor, and gear train containing a gear shaft and a gate with a working surface. The gear drive module is 5, and the slide stroke is 236 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes possible to use an electric switch mechanism to operate switch blades on a high-speed railway.
