FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of bars from metal powders. It can be used for processing of wastes from additive manufacturing in the form of metal powders. Titanium hydride is placed on the bottom of the capsule in the form of a reusable cup made from heat-resistant steel, a hydrogen-permeable movable partition is placed on it, and metal powder is filled. Heating is carried out to deformation temperature, which is accompanied by decomposition of titanium hydride and release of hydrogen, which, when passing through said hydrogen-permeable partition, cleans the surface of the metal powder. Extrusion is carried out using a puncheon with a diameter equal to the inner diameter of a reusable cup from heat-resistant steel, with a drawing ratio λ=1.5-16.
EFFECT: low content of gas impurities and high relative density.
