FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment based on reflection-absorption spectroscopy and can be used to study optical characteristics, in particular absorption spectra, of fused media, such as, for example, metal salts, glass, minerals and other refractory materials. Apparatus has a spectrophotometer and an induction heating apparatus placed in a water-cooled casing. Spectrophotometer consists of a control and recording unit connected by a flexible two-channel light guide to an optical-mechanical device equipped with an adjustment platform, which is placed in a sealed glove box, wherein the window for passage of the incident and reflected light beams is mounted in the cover gas-tightly separating the space of the glove box and the induction heating unit.
EFFECT: providing accurate measurement of absorption spectra of molten media by reflection-adsorption spectroscopy at temperature up to 2,000 °C.
