FIELD: corrosion resistance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for studying the corrosion resistance of structural materials of high-temperature devices, mainly reactors for working with melts of alkali metal halides used in pyrochemical and pyrometallurgical processing of spent nuclear fuel. The installation for determining the corrosion rate of materials in molten salts contains a support platform, containers for heated crucibles with samples of the test material, characterized in that it contains three unconnected metal pipes, each of which is hermetically connected at one end with a removable heat-reflecting cover, and on the other - with a container for heated crucibles, made in the form of a glass, threaded pins are mounted on the support platform, onto which transverse discs made of heat-reflecting material with three holes for passing metal pipes through them are screwed vertically in several tiers.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to simultaneously carry out independent experiments in an inert environment, including a qualitative and quantitative analysis of all volatile products formed during the experiment, with minimization of heat losses.
