FIELD: navigation equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation equipment, namely to methods of strapdown inertial navigation integrated with satellite navigation, and can be used to control orientation of receiving-transmitting antennae in order to provide a stable continuous communication channel. Satellite inertial navigation system for satellite communication stations comprises a computer, a unit of sensitive elements (SE) and a satellite navigation signal receiver (SNS). Additionally, the computer is made in the form of a microcontroller; the SE unit contains two three-axis accelerometers, six single-axis angular velocity sensors (AVS) and a digital temperature sensor. System also includes a second SNS receiver and read-only memory (ROM) connected by a bidirectional communication line to the computer.
EFFECT: creation of a satellite inertial navigation system for satellite communication stations capable of outputting a calculated orientation vector and a position in space.
