FIELD: transportation; storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for transportation and storage of agricultural products, namely vegetables and fruits. Structure of the container for storage of vegetables and fruits contains a body, a bottom, a cover and a perforated air duct. Body, bottom and cover are made of diatomite panels. Internal volume of the body allows placing inside boxes of the corresponding size, with fruits or vegetables and from environmentally friendly material. Boxes with fruits or vegetables inside the body are arranged in tiers. For installation of boxes with fruits or vegetables inside the body there is a door on its surface. Door opening and closing is fixed with a latch-lock. Door is attached to the body by means of fasteners. Door material is similar to that of the body. Perforated air duct of round cross-section passing along the centre inside the body in vertical direction has an adapter in its upper part. Said adapter connects perforated air duct with mesh filter. Mesh filter is filled with crushed fraction of diatomite. Mesh filter is connected by its other end to one more adapter. This adapter is connected to the valve. Valve is connected to another adapter. This adapter allows connecting to the vegetable storage ventilation system. In the lower part the perforated air duct is connected to the adapter. This adapter makes it possible to connect the perforated air duct with the air duct of the container of similar design at their possible stacking.

EFFECT: ensuring safety of vegetables and fruits during long-term storage and improving the quality of stored products by creating an optimal storage mode.
