FIELD: radar absorbing materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar-absorbing materials, namely to elastomeric radar-absorbing composite materials for protection against electromagnetic radiation, and can be used to protect equipment, buildings, premises and personnel in various industries and services from harmful effects of electromagnetic fields in the radio frequency range. Radio-absorbing material consists of a rubber-based binder and a functional filler in the form of a mixture of metal oxides and a carbon-containing material, characterized by that the binder contains butadiene-styrene oil-filled rubber, the functional filler is a mixture of metal powder based on II and III valence oxides of iron, graphite and technical carbon, additionally, the plasticizer is mineral oil, the vulcanising agent is sulphur, the vulcanisation accelerator is thiuram D, the vulcanisation activators are stearic acid and zinc white, and the process additive is sevilene.
EFFECT: proposed invention enables to obtain radar-absorbing material having high strength, elasticity and radar-absorbing properties in a wider frequency range.
