FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to methods of heat treatment of titanium alloys, and can be used for heat treatment of articles from alloyed titanium alloys. Method of thermal treatment of articles made from titanium alloys includes heating to quenching temperature, holding at this temperature, quenching, heating to aging temperature, holding at aging temperature and cooling in air. Titanium alloys are subjected to heat treatment with coefficient β-stabilization (Kβ) making 0.7-1.3, wherein heating for quenching is carried out to temperature of 10 to 120 °C is lower than temperature of polymorphic transformation, quenching is carried out at a cooling rate of not less than 60 °C/s, and aging is carried out at temperature from 150 to 250 °C and holding at this temperature from 0.2 to 50 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining high strength properties of articles with preservation of plasticity and without oxidation of articles during aging.
