FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to titanium alloys intended for use as high-strength structural high-tech material for production of power structures of shipbuilding, aircraft and space equipment, power plants operating at temperatures of up to 350 °C. Titanium-based alloy contains, wt. %: aluminum 5.3–6.0; vanadium 7.3–7.9; molybdenum 4.8–5.3; chromium 1.3–1.8, iron 0.4–0.7; zirconium 0.5–0.8; oxygen 0.10–0.18, carbon 0.01–0.02, silicon 0.005–0.02, nitrogen 0.005–0.02, hydrogen 0.003–0.015, other impurities not more than 0.30; titanium – the rest.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high strength, plasticity and corrosion resistance in water NaCl solution.
