FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, namely to pneumatic impact machines and can be used as a pneumatic hammer for destruction of quarry oversize, frozen soil, concrete foundations, road surface and similar materials and structures, soil compaction in order to improve physical and mechanical properties of soil bases of transport infrastructure facilities in railway construction, as well as in mining and machine building. Pneumatic hammer comprises a cylindrical housing, a working tool held by a retainer relative to the cylindrical housing, a handle with an inlet channel, a partition wall with an inlet throttle, an outlet channel and an axial hole, in which a tube with a longitudinal outlet channel, a discharge side channel and a radial outlet channel extending into its side surface is fixed, annular outlet chamber with outlet channel formed by partition wall, cylindrical housing and handle housing, prechamber having possibility of communication by means of inlet channel with compressed air network, striker with a through axial channel for passing said tube, dividing the cylindrical housing cavity into a working stroke chamber located on the partition side, having the possibility of constant communication with the prechamber by means of an inlet throttle in the partition, and an idle stroke chamber located on the side of the working tool, having the possibility of intermittent communication by means of a radial outlet, a longitudinal outlet and a discharge side channels in the tube and an outlet channel in the partition, with outlet to annular outlet chamber and by means of outlet channel in handle body with atmospheric chamber formed by handle body and air baffle ring, groove made in the cylindrical housing on the side of the idle stroke chamber, and the drainage screw channel-groove made on the side surface of the tube with the formation of beads and slots with a constant depth, having the possibility of connecting the chambers of the working and idle strokes to each other, wherein radial outlet channel is made in said collar without possibility of its connection with grooves in position of hammer resting on working tool. Groove of the drainage screw channel-groove is made in the cross section in the form of an isosceles triangle, and the groove depth does not exceed half the thickness of the tube wall.
EFFECT: reduced time of working and idling of striker, increased energy and frequency of blows of pneumatic hammer as a whole.
