SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to active methods of protection against acoustic noise and can be used for acoustic counteraction to detection of noisy underwater objects. Second suppression field source and a second controller are added to the classical active noise suppression circuit and its transfer function is synthesized so as to minimize the acoustic feedback signal at the reference microphone. Field coming from the upstream source of the quenching field is compensated by the field of the downstream source of the quenching field. Damping effect can be amplified by using a reference and a control antenna instead of the reference and control microphones.
EFFECT: reduced computational load on the controller used in the method implementation.
