FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building and concerns reducing thermal (infrared) visibility of a ship and protection against high-precision weapons with thermal imaging homing heads. Gas outlet device represents casings insulated on both sides, repeating the profile of the end section of the gas outlet. Casings are coated with a thin weather-resistant composite coating with a low coefficient of thermal conductivity, which has heat-insulating and heat-reflecting properties. Heat insulation material is a liquid water-dispersed composition consisting of styrene-acrylic polymers, ceramic filler - evacuated microspheres and additives. In the lower part of casings there are louvers for creation of additional ejection.
EFFECT: reduced probability of ship detection with the help of thermal imaging means of reconnaissance and weapon homing in infrared range with operating main and auxiliary engines.
