FIELD: storing or distributing liquids.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for storage and/or transportation of low-temperature fluid medium, in particular, to connection insulation panels used in walls of sealed isothermal reservoirs of membrane type for storage and/or transportation of liquefied gas. Present invention also discloses a sealed reservoir with a wall containing docking insulating panel (1), and a method of its manufacturing. Docking panel (1) comprises heat-insulating layer (2) with glued plywood board (3) forming the upper surface of panel (1), as well as sealing sheet (4) made of composite material consisting of layer of aluminium foil, reinforced on both sides with layer of glass fibre, and glued to layer (2). Sealing sheet (4) forms lower surface of panel (1). Length of sealing sheet (4) exceeds the length of heat-insulating layer (2), as a result of which sealing sheet (4) protrudes beyond the edge of layer (2) along the width of panel (1). Docking panel (1), being installed between upper parts (6) of main insulation panels (8) of the tank wall, closes the joint of lower (7) parts of said panels (8), providing continuity of auxiliary sealing membrane (11) and protection of auxiliary insulation barrier in case of damage to main sealing membrane (5).

EFFECT: simplification of method of sealed reservoir manufacturing and reduction of its wall assembly time with preservation of reservoir insulation properties.
