SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of liquefied gas storage and transportation. Disclosed is the sealed and thermally insulated reservoir, in which the reservoir first wall (6) and the reservoir adjacent second wall (7) form the edge (8). Reservoir further includes the sealed corner member (32), hermetically attached to the reservoir first wall and the reservoir second wall sealing membrane. Corner member includes the sheet metal corner (37) located in the straight line with the edge, first reinforcing bead (35), second reinforcing bead (36), first closing member (33), second closing member (34), in which the closing members are attached to the insulating barrier, first reinforcing bead and the second reinforcing bead. Each includes tab (50, 57) attached to the first and second closing members lower edge, respectively.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables ease of the reservoir hermetic membrane corner element manufacturing for the reservoirs of different shapes.
