FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: sealed insulated reservoir, in which the auxiliary insulating barrier, the auxiliary sealing membrane and the main insulating barrier essentially consist of a set of prefabricated panels (54) arranged side by side on the supporting structure. Sealing strips (65) are placed to overlap adjacent marginal zones (59) on the impermeable linings of prefabricated panels (54) to complete the auxiliary sealing membrane between the prefab panels. Insulating blocks (66) placed on sealing strips have thermal insulation layer (67) covered with rigid plate (68), and reinforcing layer (1) having a tensile stiffness greater than or equal to the tensile stiffness of the sealing strips and glued to the thermal insulation layer on the front surface of the thermal insulation layer opposite rigid plate (68), the insulation unit is in each case secured in a fixed position to the precast panels by gluing reinforcing layer (1) to underlying sealing strip (65).
EFFECT: sealed insulated reservoir and method for manufacture thereof is disclosed.
