FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for lachrymal fluid sampling. Patient is asked to tilt his head back and tilt it to the temporal side of the examined eye, fix the eyelids of said eye with the index and thumb, open the palpebral fissure for 30 seconds, separating the contact of the upper and lower lachrymal openings with the surface of the eye, in which lachrymal fluid accumulates in the temporal part of the lower conjunctival fornix, using a pipette dispenser and a tip with volume of 10 mcl, lachrymal fluid is sampled into Eppendorph test tubes from the temporal part of the inferior conjunctival fornix without touching the eye mucosa.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method for lachrymal fluid sampling.
