FIELD: processing of industrial wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of industrial wastes, namely to processing of blast-furnace slags into fertilizers, and can be used for production of liquid nitrogen fertilizers based on calcium-magnesium nitrate. Blast-furnace slag is finely ground to fineness corresponding to specific surface area of not less than 4500 cm2/g, leaching of blast-furnace slag in non-concentrated up to 15% nitric acid solution to obtain pulp. Additional nitric acid is gradually added to the pulp, after which the pulp is dehydrated to obtain a solution of calcium-magnesium saltpetre and a solid finely dispersed silica product.
EFFECT: fertilizer in the form of a solution of calcium-magnesium nitrate and silica nanopowder based on the process of processing secondary raw material in the form of blast-furnace slag in a non-waste technology.
