FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used for treating ciliary body detachment. For this purpose, a conjunctiva is dissected in a projection of a detached ciliary body. Sclera is marked 3 mm from the limb. Needle with 10/00 polypropylene suture is used for the first prick from the side of the sclera, and the needle is brought out through the anterior chamber under the iris into the corneal paracentesis on the opposite part of the prick. Flange is formed at the end of the thread. Further, through the same corneal paracentesis, an injection is made from the anterior chamber under the iris through the ciliary body, and the needle is brought out at the marking point. Ciliary body is fixed with a thread throughout the ciliochoroidal detachment. Suture stitches on sclera are twice shorter than on ciliary body. Then the suture is pulled up and a flange is formed at the point of the last needle sticking out on the sclera. Conjunctiva is closed with 8/0 interrupted sutures.

EFFECT: invention provides anatomical adherence of the ciliary body to the sclera, which promotes restoration of visual functions and intraocular pressure in patients, and also provides a reduced risk of recurrent ciliochoroidal detachment.
