METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIATED APPROACH IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CILIARY-CHOROIDAL DETACHMENT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F9/07 A61K35/16 A61P27/02

Abstract RU 2684038 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For the differentiated approach in the treatment of the ciliary-choroidal detachment, the detached ciliary body is adapted to the inner layers of the sclera. In cases of limited and flat ciliary-choroidal detachment with length 90–180° conservative treatment is performed. In cases of conservative treatment failure for 2–3 days, as well as flat, but widespread dislocation ciliary-choroidal detachment with length of 180–300° and 0.5–0.99 mm high, sclera trephination is performed with draining the supraciliary fluid. In cases of ineffectiveness of previous methods of treatment, as well as widespread dislocation ciliary-choroidal detachment with length of 180–300°, 1.0 mm high and more, sclera trepanation is performed with supraciliary fluid drainage and insertion of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the suprasciliary space in dialysis direction. In case of ineffectiveness of previous methods of treatment, as well as refractory spread or circular traction detachment of ciliary body, intraocular cyclopexy is performed under visual control using video endoscopy system with pre-mobilization of detached ciliary body, freeing it from traction action of cyclic schwartes.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the etiopathogenetic mechanism of developing the ciliary-choroidal detachment, restoring the normal anatomo-topographic relationships of the anterior eye structures in the cyclodialysis area, normalizing the ophthalmotonus, prevent development and progression of eyeball subatrophy.
