FIELD: obtaining oil from wells.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used in the hydrodynamic survey of the well to determine the fluid flow rate of the production well. Disclosed is a method for determining well flow rate, which includes conducting hydrodynamic studies of a well in unsteady filtration modes, including shutting down the well and recording a pressure recovery curve (PRC) at the well bottom. After recording the pressure build-up curve, a pressure recovery curve is plotted in semi-logarithmic coordinates and a derivative of the pressure recovery curve in bilogarithmic coordinates. Then, initial values of pressures measured at PRC are selected, and their derivatives, which in bilogarithmic coordinates have tangent of inclination angle equal to one. At that, well flow rate is determined by its selection and combination of specified pressure values in semi-logarithmic coordinates until their maximum coincidence is achieved.
EFFECT: simplification of the well flow rate determination method, expansion of the technological possibility of the method performance for the well liquid flow rate measurement on the group metering unit and when swabbing is performed, the flow rate determination time reduction, as well as wider range of methods for determining well flow rate by initial points of pressure recovery curve.
