FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology and ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be used for intraoperative ultrasonic imaging of malignant neoplasms (MN) of liver. 5 ml of patient’s arterial blood, 10 ml of heparinised physiologic saline and 10 ml of CO2 are mixed intraoperatively. Obtained mixture is repeatedly passed through the three-way valve with the help of two syringes of 10 ml each. Obtained gas emulsion is introduced into the common hepatic artery, and ultrasonic (US) scanning of the MN is started.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the radiation exposure on the patient’s body and reducing examination costs due to the accumulation of the contrast agent in the MN of the liver.
