FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for purification, drying and separation of gas mixtures by adsorption. It is intended for obtaining hydrogen of special purity by means of purification from carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and water vapours by method of short-cycle heatless adsorption of reaction gases of hydrocarbon fuel reforming. Apparatus includes four adsorbers filled with sorbents, connected in parallel by means of pipelines and pipeline valves. Upper and lower parts of the adsorbers are equipped with filters that serve to prevent ingress of sorbent dust into the pipeline fittings, and the apparatus is also equipped with a receiver that serves to smooth out high-purity hydrogen pressure pulsations. Throttle devices are installed in the device, which serve to reduce pressure of gas supply to adsorbers during sorbent regeneration and to prevent excessive gas losses. Electromagnetic shut-off valves with low power consumption are used as pipeline fittings.
EFFECT: invention provides improved operational characteristics and increased reliability of the apparatus for producing hydrogen of special purity.
