SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, in particular to a method of time, clock and frequency synchronization of a communication system. Method for time, clock and frequency synchronization of a communication system further comprises finding the value of the maximum index of the decision function to calculate the difference between the value of the maximum index and half the duration of the cyclic prefix, frame duration is changed by the value of this difference, if this difference has a value of more than one sample, the total value of frame corrections in samples for the selected number of frames is determined, frequency error is calculated as the product of the reference sampling frequency and the quotient of the total value of the frame corrections in samples and the product of the frame duration in samples by the difference in the frame numbers of the last and previous correction, in accordance with the frequency error value, the control voltage supplied to the reference frequency generator is corrected.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities, namely implementation of clock synchronization: synchronization of sampling frequency of subscriber stations on frequency of base station, as well as implementation of frequency synchronization, id est synchronization of carrier frequency of subscriber station on carrier frequency of base station.
