SUBSTANCE: method for performing: preamble detection and arrival time evaluation, ToA, random access preamble of single-tone signal with frequency hopping, wherein said method comprises: processing of fast Fourier transform, FFT, received signal and identification of logical tone signals; and for each logical tone signal: reading received symbols; ToA estimation; generating statistical data based on the ToA estimate; comparing statistical data with the preamble threshold value; and when the statistical data are greater than or equal to the threshold value, determining the presence of the preamble and using the ToA estimate for the advance command.
EFFECT: technical result is the reliable communication.
