FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to complex processing of gold ore production wastes with production of valuable components, which can be used in chemical, construction, refractory, electrical, metallurgical, rubber, glass and other industries. Method involves successive extraction of magnesium, silicon and iron from said wastes. 38% hydrochloric acid is added to wastes in the form of cake at a ratio of S:L=1:2-2.5 and maintained for 48-72 hours, then filtered. 50% hydrofluoric acid is added to the filtrate in amount of 0.5-0.6 l/l of the filtrate and held for 30-40 minutes and filtered. Obtained solid precipitate is a ready product – magnesium fluoride (MgF2). To the solid precipitate obtained by filtering the solution after treatment with 50% hydrochloric acid, 20% sodium hydroxide is added at a ratio of S:L=1:5-5.5 and placed into an autoclave with holding at 210-220 °C for 1.5-2 hours, then filtered. 38% hydrochloric acid is added to the filtrate until pH=1-2, held for 2-3 hours and filtered. After washing with distilled water and drying, the solid residue is a ready product – silicic acid. 25% ammonia solution is added to the filtrate until pH=10-11 and held for 30-40 minutes and filtered. Solid residue after washing with distilled water and drying is the finished product – Fe(OH)3.
EFFECT: method provides high degree of extraction of iron, silicon and magnesium for their further use in industry.
