FIELD: pulsed shadow radiography.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a radiographic image of a fast process involves adjusting the object under study, by calculation, the value of the moment of radiography of the object of study is determined relative to the beginning of the stage of interest of the fast process, the obtained value is introduced into the radiation source start-up delay line, a fast process is initiated in the research object, image of the fast process is obtained, after which the beginning of the stage of interest of the fast process is recorded by a sensor. Prior to initiation, a sensor is installed on the object under investigation, connected to the radiation source start-up line and the measuring system through a signal converter. After initiation of the fast process by the signal from the sensor, the delay line of the radiation source is started, the object under study is radiographically recorded by the radiation source and the signals are recorded by the recording elements of the measuring system. Radiographic complex comprises radiation source 1 and collimator 2, located on radiation axis 5, as well as control system 10 consisting of start-up delay line 9 of radiation source 1, process initiation unit 12 connected to control system 10 and to investigated object 3. Complex also has image recording system 4, sensor 6 which detects the beginning of the stage of the process, and signal converter 11. Sensor 6 is connected to measuring complex 8, which is connected to the unit of recording elements 14, which is located inside analysed object 3.

EFFECT: obtaining information on stages of interest in a fast process, the moment of reaching which is unknown or difficult to predict.
