FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: radiographic system for imaging fast processes in a test object comprises at least one radiographic multi-pulse radiation source with a corresponding recording system, which includes at least one movable unit with a small-size radiation source and an explosion-proof chamber in which the test object is placed, wherein components of the system can change their arrangement. The radiation source comprises a betatron, a device for emitting an electron beam towards a target and an injector, which consists of an electron beam pulse former, a voltage multiplier, arranged according to the Arkadyev-Marx scheme, and an electron beam guiding device, wherein the electron current pulse former used is a double forming line, and the voltage multiplier is selected small-size by using electrical energy storages in the form of compact capacitors with high density of stored energy.

EFFECT: high illuminating power and resolution of the system, reduced measurement error.
