FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics, particularly to methods of two-dimensional sounding. An installation is deployed on the prepared profile, which contains a supply line AB, which is connected to a control panel of a DC generator station, and receiving loops, which are connected to a multichannel digital recording system. Rectangular heteropolar DC pulses with no-current pauses between them are supplied to the ground through the supply line. In each receiving loop, the process of attenuation of the vertical component of the electromotive force is recorded, while accumulating a representative sample for statistical processing. As a result, the dependence of the change in the vertical EMF component
on the field formation time and on the mutual distance between the field source and its receiver is obtained. Then, for each formation time t, experimental dependences of the field formation signal amplitude
on the distance r are plotted, coordinates of the signal maxima are determined, values of S(t) are calculated and the obtained experimental graphs are normalized by the signal maximum. Comparing each standardized experimental graph with the standardized theoretical graph, the location of the unknown anomaly of the “deposit” type is determined from the differences between them.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining S section and reliability of detecting anomalies of the “deposit” type.
