FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to composition of steel intended for production of high-strength hollow articles of complex shape for dual purpose (sleeves, shells, reservoirs, vessels and other thin-walled articles operating under conditions of high internal pressure). from hot-rolled sheet subjected to various types of heat treatment using cold die forging. Steel contains components at the following ratio, wt.%: carbon – 0.05-0.15, manganese – 0.5-1.8, silicon – 0.10-0.50, niobium – 0.02-0.06, titanium – 0.002-0.020, copper – 0.02-0.40, nickel – 0.01-0.40, chrome – 0.01-0.40, aluminium – 0.02-0.06, calcium – 0.001-0.01, nitrogen – not more than 0.010, optionally, at least one component of: vanadium – 0.002-0.05, cerium – 0.001-0.01 and molybdenum – 0.005-0.30, the rest is iron and unavoidable impurities, including sulphur – not more than 0.005 and phosphorus – not more than 0.010. Following ratios are satisfied for steel components 0.06 ≤ [C]⋅[Mn] ≤ 0.125 and Ca/S=0.5-2.5, where C, Mn, Ca and S are content of carbon, manganese, calcium and sulphur, respectively.
EFFECT: increasing the strength characteristics and technological plasticity of non-aging structural steel by performing intensive single and multiple cold plastic deformation with intermediate recrystallization annealing.
