SUBSTANCE: developer supply control device comprises: an image acquisition component; a developer transfer channel for connecting the developer containing device and the imaging component; developer transfer component, at least partially located in the developer transfer channel for transferring the developer to the imaging component; feedback unit for information on the remaining amount, used to send information on the remaining amount of developer in the image acquisition component to the image forming apparatus, where information on the remaining amount of developer is used to determine the need for supply of developer to the imaging component; and a state detection unit used to detect the operating state of the developer transfer component. When the imaging device receives information on the working state, information on the remaining amount of the developer and information on the working state are used to determine the need to control the device containing the developer for feeding the developer into the developer transfer channel. However, in actual use, due to the lack of accurate control of the supply of the developer, the amount of the developer supplied to the imaging component is not constant, and the developer is unevenly and unstably distributed in the imaging component, which in turn leads to defects, such as white spots or colour spots in the image, and even leads to the appearance of polymers in the developer of the imaging component.

EFFECT: high accuracy of controlling the supply of the developer, as well as high uniformity and stability of distribution in the component, and low probability of printing defects.
