FIELD: polymerase chain reaction system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a system capable of performing real-time detection of nucleic acid extraction and amplification reactions and amplified results in a polymerase chain reaction device. The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system contains: a cartridge for isolating a nucleic acid from a biological sample; a PCR plate having a conduit connected to a nucleic acid extraction cartridge and at least one reaction well that accommodates a PCR dry mix containing primer, primer/probe or primer probe and receives the nucleic acid solution withdrawn from the cartridge; and a temperature control module disposed above the PCR plate adjacent to the reaction well, having a pair of heating blocks movable in horizontal and vertical directions. The first heating block contains the first pressure surface (G1) corresponding to the surface of the reaction well, and maintained at a temperature required for denaturation. The second heating block is located in a position corresponding to the first heating block at a distance from it, contains a second pressure surface (G2) corresponding to the reaction well surface and maintained at the temperature required for annealing. The horizontal and vertical movements of the first and second heating blocks are provided by a drive module located in the temperature control module.
EFFECT: operation of the system enables the temperature required for the denaturation process and the exact temperature required for annealing to be quickly and repeatedly applied to the reaction target in the temperature control process required for the PCR process in order to perform fast and correct PCR and maximize reaction reliability.
