FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a developer supply container which can be detachably mounted to a developer supplying apparatus. Disclosed developer supply container includes a developer accommodating portion, a discharge opening, a storing portion, said storing portion being in fluid communication with an inside of said developer supply container and said discharge opening, a pump portion and a rotatable member provided opposite said storing portion, wherein said rotatable member includes i) a first wall having a sector shape in a view in the direction of the axis of rotation of said rotatable member and having a first inner space, ii) a first peripheral opening provided in a circular portion of said first wall, said first peripheral opening being in fluid communication with said first inner space, iii) a first side opening provided on the side of said first wall, which is closer to said pump section with respect to the direction of the axis of rotation, to provide fluid communication between said pump section and said first inner space, iv) a second wall having the shape of a sector in a view in the direction of the axis of rotation of said rotatable member and having a second inner space, said second wall being separated from said first wall in the direction of rotation of said rotatable member, v) a second peripheral opening provided in a circular portion of said second wall, said second peripheral opening being in fluid communication with said second inner space, vi) a second side opening provided in the side of said second wall, which is closer to said pump section relative to the direction of the axis of rotation, to provide fluid communication between said pump section and said second inner space, said first peripheral opening and said second peripheral opening being able to access said storing portion, and vii) a developer supplying portion for supplying the developer to the space formed between said first wall and said second wall.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a developer supplying container with which the accuracy of supplying the developer from the developer supply container to an image forming apparatus is higher, and, therefore, a developer supply container having a more stable release capability in the image forming apparatus.
