FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for determination of dust permeability and dust capacity of samples of textile materials for miners' suits. Device for determining dust capacity and dust permeability of samples of textile materials for miner suit comprises aerodynamic chamber divided into two zones: dust zone equipped with centrifugal fan, filter holder, dust supply unit, and a clean zone equipped with a filter holder, a partition with a fixed sample of textile material. Dust zone is additionally equipped with a supporting centrifugal fan. Clean zone is additionally equipped with air intake with square cross-section base with area equal to sample area, air duct with square cross-section. Differential pressure gauge is additionally provided between the dust and clean zones. Dust supply unit consists of a dust source of a cylindrical shape with a mesh bottom, which is attached to the cover above the dust supply hole by springs, an electric motor with a drop-shaped cam, which causes oscillations of the dust source during rotation, a housing with an opening cover.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities of device due to provision of working air flow passing through sample of textile material, in particular, miner's suit under action of constant air pressure difference, specified in range from 50 to 250 Pa, with constant concentration of coal dust, specified in range from 0.5 to 20 g/m3.
