FIELD: communication technique.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cellular communication networks. System includes: a database configured to store and provide access to routing information preset by subscribers of a cellular communication network, wherein the routing information includes at least an indication of the routing mode and a virtual private network (VPN) tunnel terminator identifier outside the operator's core network and a routing unit configured to: transmitting the data packet to the network address translation (NAT) unit of the basic network of the operator of said cellular communication network for transmitting the packet over the Internet to the recipient of the data packet, corresponding to said data packet recipient identifier in response to detecting that the routing information contains an indication of the first routing mode; encapsulating a data packet into a transport packet, in which said VPN tunnel terminator is indicated as a recipient, and transmitting said transport packet to said NAT unit for transmitting said transport packet over the Internet to said VPN tunnel terminator in response to detecting that the routing information contains an indication of a second routing mode.

EFFECT: enabling concealment of an IP address of a subscriber of a cellular communication network using an additional node of the core network of a cellular communication network operator.
