FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for indicating and measuring voltage, in particular to voltage indicators, designed to determine the presence/absence of operating and induced voltage on wires of overhead transmission lines, contact wires of electrified railways and current-carrying parts of other electrical installations. Single-pole high-voltage indicator comprises a working part, an insulating part and a handle, which is separated from the insulating part of the indicator by means of a limiting ring. Working part of the indicator is equipped with a contact-tip and a unit for indicating the presence of voltage, the input of which is connected to the contact-tip. Working part of the indicator includes a high-voltage generator of test alternating voltage, the output of which is connected to a tip contact; at that, the test alternating voltage generator is equipped with a switch.
EFFECT: high reliability of determining the presence or absence of operating and induced voltage, broader functional capabilities of the indicator.
