FIELD: rack structures.
SUBSTANCE: result is achieved by rack upright, containing at least one lower and one upper shaped corner elements, each of which has walls located at right angle with chutes, flanges and multiple holes located along each wall in the chute outline. Elements are connected by bolts located in holes, each wall of the lower element has flat sections on the upper end part with bending inside the element. In the wall of the flat section there are holes aligned with holes in the walls of the upper element, in which the bolts are located. In the places of transition of each wall of the lower element into the flat section of this element there is a threshold against which the end of the wall of the upper element rests. Holes in flat sections of the lower shaped element and each hole of the lower and upper shaped elements have the shape of an oval, the major axis of symmetry of which is located across the longitudinal axis of the shaped elements. Centres of oval holes of flat sections of lower shaped element and centres of each hole of lower and upper shaped elements are located on longitudinal axes of symmetry of chutes of each shaped element.
EFFECT: simplification of assembly and disassembly work during the process of extending rack uprights and installing racks during the process of connecting rack uprights with rack beams and shelves.
