FIELD: connection means.
SUBSTANCE: connector refers to the means of butt-joining the rack racks, while the connector is intended for use in the construction of quick-release racks with the possibility of increasing the height of the rack racks. The first option of the connector is made in the form of a corner in cross section, the corner has walls at an angle to each other. Hooks are made in each wall for connection with rack holes. Each hook has a pair of adjacent flat caps on legs, between which a gap is formed. Each cap and leg are made integral with the wall of the corner. In the frontal plane, each hook head has two rectilinear sides located at an angle, one of which is located across the connector, and the other side is located along the connector. The sides of the cap are connected by the third rounded side of the cap with one end narrowed part located opposite the transverse rectilinear side of the cap. At least two hooks are located on each wall of the connector, divided by the transverse axis of symmetry of the wall so that the narrowed part of each cap of the hook faces away from the transverse axis of the connector wall. The second variant of the connector differs from the first variant of the connector in that the other straight side of the cap of each hook is located along the connector at an angle α to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the connector wall, and at the same time, each leg of the cap of each hook is located at the specified angle α to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the connector wall. Width wH of the hook of each connector wH = 2t + f, where t is the thickness of the leg, f is the gap between the legs of two hats of one hook, while wH ≥ WG, where WG is the width of the groove of the hole in the wall of the rack.
