FIELD: transporting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to assistance to disabled people. Device for loading a wheelchair into a luggage box on the roof of a passenger car comprises a trunk placed on the roof of the vehicle and a unit for lifting the wheelchair. Said trunk is composed of box and arranged on frame to displace therewith across vehicle lengthwise axis and beyond vehicle side. Lifting unit consists of a flexible inextensible traction rod with a grip and is connected to a drive drum for lifting the carriage into the trunk cavity and laying it in a horizontal position. One part of the trunk is fixed on the frame and has the possibility of going beyond the vehicle side, and the second part is fixed on the frame. Subframe is mounted inside the frame, having the possibility of rotation on hinges relative to the frame and connected to one arm of the double-arm lever. Other arm of the lever is connected to the drive of rotation around the hinged support fixed on the frame. On the side of the double-arm lever on the subframe there is a drum with a rod. Subframe is provided with a platform for stowing the wheelchair.
EFFECT: high strength and reliability of the device to ensure guaranteed safety of its operation.
