FIELD: testing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for testing and testing of cone seals. Device includes housing (10), a working medium drain line, a pressure line, a working medium supply source, a pressure regulator and a pressure gauge. Housing (10) is made with possibility of installation in it of conical insert (11), protector (12), collar (13) of round section, removable screws (14). Cover-clamp (17) is installed on housing (10) through gasket (16) on the side of collar (13) and conical insert (11). Housing (10) is installed on external cylindrical surface of calibrated shell (1). Calibrated shell (1) with its end surface (2) is installed through gasket (3) into support cover-clamp (4). Support clamp cover (4) by means of fastening rod (5) and support cover (6) is attached to opposite end surface of calibrated shell (1). Studs (19) with nuts (20) are screwed into threaded holes (18) on the side of housing (10), which is opposite to cover-clamp (17), providing fixation of support cover-clamp (4) relative to end face (7) of calibrated shell (1).
