SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of complex organizational and technical systems using computer equipment. Technical result is achieved by implementing the method, in which requirements for the designed system, automation means are obtained, requirements for the arrangement and reservation of information resources are determined for elements of a distributed database, simulating the effect of probable destructive effects on the elements of the system versions, simulating the use of the system design versions using the obtained simulation results, the achieved probability of timeliness of providing information resources under conditions of destructive actions is compared with the required one; the best version of the system design is determined.

EFFECT: creation of a system for information and analytical support of a special-purpose control system of optimal composition, ensuring compliance with requirements for timely provision of information resources to users of a special-purpose control system in conditions of probable destructive effects and available resource constraints.
