FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular to the means of simulating radio-frequency sources (RFS), including RFS on unmanned aerial vehicles, and can be used for evaluating quality indicators of radio direction-finding means and RFS location systems on unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as for training operators of said means. Technical result is achieved by calculating, according to the given coordinates, two values of bearings and two values of elevation angles and simultaneous formation of two groups (1, …, J) and (J+1, …, J+N) of signals with different phase shifts in each group relative to signal phase of one of channels for group (1, …, J) of signals and relative to signal phase of one of channels for group (J+1, …, J+N) signals, taking into account corresponding values of bearings and elevation angles. Radio-frequency radiation source simulator also includes inputting information on elevation angles into the generated phase shifts in signal generating channels by multiplying phase shift values, which take into account bearing values, by the cosine value of the elevation angle in accordance with phase equations of direction-finding pairs.
EFFECT: simulating operation of radio-frequency radiation sources on unmanned aerial vehicles from a given location in three-dimensional space.
