METHOD FOR SAMPLING AND PROCESSING POLOXAMERS FOR BIOMEDICAL PURPOSES AND SOLUTION BASED THEREON Russian patent published in 2025 - IPC G01N33/15 C08J3/00 A61K47/10

Abstract RU 2838753 C1

FIELD: biotechnology; medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology, medicine, pharmacology, cosmetology, food industry, veterinary science. Disclosed is a method for sampling poloxamers for biomedical purposes, which consists in successive testing, in which the ability of a poloxamer sample to damage permeability of biological membranes is initially measured, detection of which is a criterion for rejection of the taken poloxamer sample, freeing from the need to carry out subsequent sampling procedures, and including the exclusion of poloxamers, which do not prevent the development of lipid peroxidation, having the ability to increase the permeability of biological membranes, capable of inhibiting mitochondrial respiration of animal tissues; containing molar concentration of hydrazone-active groups by more than 10% higher than the calculated molar concentration of poloxamer in solution, where damage of permeability of biological membranes is assessed by measuring uncoupling of oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria and initiation of non-specific permeability of biological membranes for cations. Also disclosed is a method of processing poloxamers for biomedical purposes.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides obtaining poloxamer solutions biologically acceptable in a wide range of concentrations, non-pyrogenic, which do not damage biological membranes.
