FIELD: chemical industry; production of linoleum. SUBSTANCE: new polymer composition includes polyvinylchloride, recovered rubber stock, plasticizer, stabilizer, and target-oriented additives, ratio of enumerated components expressed in terms of percent by mass being as follows: 70 to 30 (recovered rubber stock), 18 to 40 (polyvinylchloride), 8 to 20 (plasticizer), 0.04 to 0.4 (stabilizer), target-oriented additives constituting the remainder. New method includes steps of admixing starting components, plasticizing prepared admixture at temperature of 170 to 180 C, and then molding finished product. Plasticization was carried out at initial temperature of 70 to 80 C under adiabatic conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
