FIELD: construction and furniture industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction and furniture industry, namely, to a method for obtaining a polymer composition based on polyethylene and organic filler; it can be used for the production of engineering products by extrusion and compression shaping methods. In the method, crushed glass waste and low-pressure polyethylene are compounded at the melting temperature of polyethylene to a constant value of compounding temperature. Then, an organic filler is added in the form of cereal straw, with the following component ratio, wt.%: low-pressure polyethylene – 45-50; crushed glass waste with a particle size of less than 3 mcm – 5-15; organic filler – cereal straw with a particle size of less than 50 mcm – the rest.
EFFECT: increased elastic-strength characteristics of the polymer composition, namely, the tensile strength and elastic modulus, as well as the widespread use of household, industrial and agricultural waste, which reduces the cost of the composition.
