FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science and represents a method for prevention of bovine postpartum endometritis. Method involves subcutaneous administration to cows on 8 months of pregnancy of "Denaturated emulsified placenta" preparation at dose of 20 ml per head per day for 10 days before expected delivery, intramuscular administration of "E-selen" in a single dose of 10 ml of 0.5 % solution for 10 days before calving, quadruple subcutaneous introduction of "Tetravit" in dose of 6 ml per head for 60, 40, 30 and 20 days before calving and the introduction of "Ligfol" in the form of intramuscular injections in dose of 5 ml per head per day for 5 days 10 days before calving.
EFFECT: invention provides higher adaptive capabilities, reduced oxidative stress and, consequently, prevention of postpartum endometritis and higher milk production.
