FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: parallel-row chain transmission consists of three parallel driving roller chains and two sprockets with three rims of teeth on each one with rims shifted by one third of teeth angular pitch in engagement phase relative to adjacent rims. Drive sprocket is made in the form of hub with main toothed rim made fixed relative to hub, and two parallel rims shifted in engagement phase and arranged on different sides of main rim. Shifted in engagement phase parallel rims are installed on hub of main rim with possibility of relative rotation and are connected with main rim by means of elastic element arranged in holes of rims.
EFFECT: increased service life of chains.
