FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: receiver in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) can receive one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions containing downlink control information (DCI), WTRU determines a transmission profile associated with uplink control information (UCI), based on which the WTRU module determines one or more transmission characteristics associated with UCI transmission; WTRU transmits UCI via physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), and the UCI is transmitted using transmission characteristics determined by WTRU. WTRU transmits UCI based on at least one of control resource set (CORESET), search space or radio network temporary identifier (RNTI); WTRU may differently determine the transmission profile based on possible UCI content.

EFFECT: high efficiency of using resources and reliability of control signalling.
