FIELD: radio engineering and communication.
SUBSTANCE: embodiments consider transmissions of a wireless transmission/receiving unit (WTRU) over the uplink communication channels and/or signals of various types at the system deployment site, where there may be multiple destination points. Some embodiments consider that the WTRU can select the destination point for the transmission on a dynamic basis. In one or more systems, where selecting the destination point from a plurality of candidate destinations may be possible for transmitting by the WTRU, some embodiments consider determining the retransmission processing of the hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) and various mechanisms for providing power margin information. Embodiments also consider reduction and/or prohibition of the WTRU transmissions to those destination points, with which the WTRU may have lost the ability to provide communication.
EFFECT: coordinated multi-point transmission for wireless long-term development systems is proposed.
