FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, particularly to apparatus for carrying out chemical or physical processes, more specifically to reactors for producing synthesis gas. Reactor for production of synthesis gas includes reaction vessel, inlets for supply of inflammable reaction components, outlet for output of reaction products, ignition device of inflammable reaction components. Ignition device includes housing, inlet branch pipes for supply of oxidizer and combustible gas, ignition plug, valves of inlet branch pipes, outlet branch pipe. Housing comprises a cylindrical mixing chamber, inlets of nozzles for supply of oxidizer and combustible gas are located in the most remote part of the outlet nozzle of the mixing chamber. Oxidant supply branch pipe is connected to the housing so that to supply the oxidant in the tangential direction, the combustible gas supply branch pipe is connected to the housing so that to supply the combustible gas in the radial direction or the oxidiser supply branch pipe is connected to the housing so as to supply the oxidiser in the radial direction, combustible gas feed pipe is connected to the housing to feed combustible gas in tangential direction. Inlet holes of inlet nozzles in the housing are made so that critical outflow of gases is provided, the dimensions of the inlet holes are selected so that when the back pressure changes, the flow rates of the combustible gas and oxidizer vary proportionally, outlet branch pipe diameter makes 10-50 % of mixing chamber diameter.
