SUBSTANCE: composition for chemical thinning of fruit tree ovaries and increasing branching of seedlings in the form of an aqueous suspension contains the following components, wt.%: 6-benzyladenine – 1-15, glycerine, or ethylene glycol, or propylene glycol, or any mixture thereof – 1-10, aldehyde C1-C4 or any mixture thereof – 0.05-1.0, thickener – 0.05-1.5, water – the rest up to 100%.

EFFECT: disclosed composition for chemical thinning of ovaries of fruit trees and increasing branching of seedlings, stable in time during storage, enables to achieve shedding of 86-93% of the weakest ovaries of fruit trees during chemical thinning of plantations of fruit trees, provides branching of seedlings to 8.6 branches per 1 seedling, has reduced phytotoxicity.
